Westside Chinese School holds a unique record for these Olympic Games of Chinese Schools of Southern California as the only Chinese school that has participated in these games every year for the past 23 years.
Students compete in up to 3 individual events and 3 team events plus tug-of-war. No one needs to be an athlete - our goal is to create a fun family experience. Fast or slow, everyone is a winner. Every participant will be acknowledged and receive a certificate for participation at the year-end culmination/award ceremony on June 6, 2020.
The school provides a snack, water and lunch box. The only required fee is $10 for the first individual event, and the school will sponsor the additional events. However, if a student registers but fails to show up without prior notification, he/she will be responsible to pay back the school all fees including event fee and the lunch box fee. Students who participate in the games will be counted for attendance during that school day.
