Recruitment

Our school’s after school journalism class is currently recruiting new staff members to work on our school newsletter, The Westside Breeze, a student run newsletter that has been publishing 3 times each school year since 2008.

Students taking the The Westside Breeze Journalism Class get to report, write, translate, and design articles spanning on topics of their interests to schoolwide events. This class is great for creative students interested in publishing their work and especially high schoolers, who may not only take on leadership roles but also work with their schools to use this class to meet the requirements for obtaining Chinese language credit.

This EC class is located in Room 5 after school (click here for campus map). We welcome you to come visit with your student.

Note: This class is predominantly for students 3rd grade and up, but younger students may serve as artists.
